The BoyCrush studio has something good going for them. That is, an unique business concept that makes them stand apart from other twink studios. They use almost exclusively boys who have not worked in the industry before, and have a special philosophy of working that focuses on making the boys comfortable, bringing out their personality as well as their looks, and aiming for a natural, low-key style in their productions. If you are the soft-hearted type who likes the innocent boy-next-door looks, a lot of pretty and amusing stills, and an appearance of freshness and relative inexperience, BoyCrush might be right up your alley. This approach is called "professional-amateur style" in the studio's own words.

They have a special formula of introducing a new boy to the filming, gradually helping them to relax and build confidence. The first part that is published for the members of the studio is an interview that ends in a solo jerk-off in front of the camera. There are questions of the boy's likes and dislikes, sexual history, thoughts and hobbies. These can be very charming - and the boys can be really innocent and inexperienced (for example, the exclusive model Ashton Cody states only having had sex with four men before his interview!). A must feature for anyone who also wants to have an idea what his favorite porn star is like as a person.

The next step along the road is a solo scene with some bizarre looking sex toy (the pretty dark boy appearing to stuff a corkscrew up his ass is Felix Russo). These scenes start with a little small talk getting the boy in the mood. I just have to quote my favorite small talk snippet here, from Hayden Chandler's dildo show.

The first hardcore scene is typically filmed with someone the boy is comfortable with: a friend or even a boyfriend, or at least a model with whom the chemistry is right. The scene starts with the two sitting together on a double bed, introducing themselves and answering small talk questions. As is the case with all BoyCrush films, there is no music in the scenes, to preserve the low-key realistic approach. As an example I display here the lovely bottom boy Keith Conner with boyfriend Nick Ryan. Nick fucks Keith against the wall, holding his hips, and that is so goddamn hot. Pay attention to Keith's tattoos in the last picture: I think they are the finest of any models I have paid attention to.

After all that, the boy is ready to spread his wings and take the sky. Perhaps he will stay and film more for BoyCrush, or perhaps with that experience under his belt he will go and work for other studios. Either way, I hope that BoyCrush will stay true to their own unique style.
